Sondrio, Italy - We are Maxine Hyndman and Elisa Valdinocci, co-founders of the Phoehn brand. Sparked from an idea due to the loss of her younger brother from an aneurism in 2021. Loss is what drove us to focus on the light — the light within ourselves to find the strength to pull through difficult moments and our desire to make the world a lighter place to live, one candle at a time. Light and beauty are what our brand is built on.
Phoehn is an independent Italian Home Fragrance brand focused on creating fine, simple things for the home that are as beautiful to look at as they are to smell and touch. Operating out of an early 19th century stud farm home in the Italian Alps, we hand pour all of our candles in small batches and design our own fragrances. All of our items are hand crafted in Italy.
By focusing on small quantities, we can ensure that all aspects of design and production are of the highest quality and to our exacting standards.
Made with the finest quality soy and organic beeswax from the hills of Cesena, Italy our wax is then infused with a unique blend of essential oils and premium fragrances.
We offer refills for our candles because our vessels are designed to last a lifetime.
